Pokemon Platinum (May 21)

Oh summer. Why do you have to be so boring, with nothing to do…

After the fun that I had last weekend, now I’m back to ???

I guess I have no other choice but to bring out the big guns, I’m going to play Pokemon Platinum once again! The last time I did play this game was semester break of AY 2011-2012 so I reset it.

Actually I already wanted to play Pokemon Black/White but I can’t successfully download one. So to anyone out there who has a file of that game for WinDS, have mercy and give me please!

Anyhows, I’m not done yet with playing but now that I got other things to take care I can’t seem to face it. The last time I played here’s my status and my pokemon.

For my starter pokemon I got Chimchar and named it MD Luffy. Short from Mokey D. Luffy from One Piece, did you get the logic? :P The next pokemon Gyarados, I named him Blu Dragon. It lacks an ‘E’ coz you only get 10 spaces when you rename your pokemon. It was a lot of effort getting him. First I caught a Magicarp lvl 7 and had to raise it to lvl 20 to evolve and waited some more level to get good moves. Let’s be honest Magicarp is one of the most bad pokemon for battling, and I really hate the low exp points they give when you beat them. Next was Espeon whom I evolved from the Eevee I got in the game and then breed it so I can still get the other eevee evolutions. I named it Nostradam from the famed psychic Nostradamus. hehehe. I also got a Togepi that got an ability of Serene Grace so I named it Serenity. I already evolved it to Togetic and now I’m still waiting to acquire Shiny Stone so it could evolve into Togekiss. Last was Chansey whom I never expect to acquire due to its rarity. I was really happy to get it and then got it to evolve into Blissey. I thought Blissey could learn Fly but too bad it can’t. I named it Jang Geum. Ahahaha

TFA Induction (May 19-20)

This is one of the events which I am looking forward this summer. After a long time of being locked up inside our house, I was GLAD to come out once again. Happiness, just pure happiness is what this event was all about :)

I was really to see all these faces! Since it was the first time I see familiar faces of friends after half a month :P

Shopped for snacks and extra stuff to be used during the Induction. It was on Rustan’s along Katipunan but we were really supposed to shop on SM Hypermarket. I guess it was fate coz if we did I won’t get to see actress Yayo Aguila shopping with her daughter :P

Feeling very creative Arvin and I arranged the drinks and snacks. Food was yet to be prepared so it was all there is. Take a look of the water, that was the only available drinking water for all of us for the next 12 hours and those Tanduay Ice, I would end up breaking those drinks in the morning. Sayang!

As always, pictures of the Induction process (though there were) are not allowed to be posted to keep the secrecy of the whole thing intact. Oh well, tradition.

The pool at first didn’t seem enticing to swim at with all its dirt. But later on we would all be having a fun time here. And I was the lucky one (I was forced) to take a plunge on it among everyone.

Mharren and Elle situated in one ‘station’ for the Induction process and at the same time cramming/finishing papers due the coming week. That’s what you call multi-tasking :)

Finance Committee Head of then and now. Arvin (2 years ago) and precious (incumbent). These guys make sure the org never goes bankrupt, what a job!!!

Due to its success from our Bicol Trip we once again played King’s Cup. Since there were a number of us we played it tagged team style. It was really fun playing it but in the end nobody got to drink the cup. Boo!

I thought it will be an all-nighter but thankfully there were lots of bed available so we got to take a little nap :P

In he morning, before leaving the turn over ‘power’ of previous to current officers took place. Good job previous EB and good luck cuurent EB! :)

The Day I Decided to Join a Gym (May 14)

Remember that I plan to do Yoga in order to lose weight? Apparently there’s this school, named Ananda Marga Yoga Center, that is with in the area which I live. I wanted to enter into a yoga class but when I inquired, they where not offering any class this summer. What a bummer!

I was very vocal of this plan with my family and friends. So, I thought its hurtful to my pride when after summer and friends would ask ‘Ano nang nangyari sa pag-yyoga mo?’ (I could really see in my head Arvin saying this out loud :P) Out of fear of that situation, I mustered my courage and went to this gym (up until now I don’t know its name yet ahahaha), inquired and joined instantly. Flash forward to present, I’m on my third week of going to gym and I’m glad to see results.

My fear for the future is that will I be able to sustain esp. with school about to start. Fingers crossed, I really hope I can :)

Hello Tumblr!

Wow. It’s been too long since I’ve posted/updated my Tumblr.

I have a lot of stories to tell.

Updating now :)

Happy Mother’s Day (May 13)

I’m a certified Mama’s boy.

So I wouldn’t let Mother’s Day pass without posting about it and dedicating it to my one and loving Mama.

“Mama maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyong walang sawang pag-aaruga at pagkalinga mula noon at hanggang ngayon. Sa pag-konsidera sa aming kalagayan di lang sa kasalukuyan pati na rin sa hinaharap. Salamat sa pagmamahal at patuloy na pagtititwala na di nagdadalwang-isip na tanggapin kung ano at sino talaga kaming iyong mga anak. Wala akong nanaisin na iba. Mahal ko kayo.”

:)

At Last A Worthwhile Friday!!! (May 11)

Hazel: Uy may kakaiba sa aura mo ngayon…

Me: Yan ang aura ng taong ngayon lang nakalabas ng bahay sa napakahabang panahon.

I don’t know what aura Hazel is talking about but I really think and most probably that what she sees is because of just staying in the house for the whole summer. And I am really glad that an event opened up this Friday. Though really I don’t know what to expect.

The event was first a site visit and inspection to the socialized housing project the org (UP TFA) I am part of is involved. It is located in Manila City, I forgot where the specific area is but its near Tayuman station of LRT. Afterwards, my sister and I is going to have a movie night courtesy of my generous Ate Raia. Yes she is generous because it wouldn’t be that last time that she will treat me. Ahahaha.

The Site Inspection. Actually I don’t really know what to inspect since it was a first to me. And so upon arriving at the construction site and realizing that the design was not followed I felt like I wanted to shout and stop the construction. But I guess I don’t have that authority and even more there were 3 carpenters and there was only me so its not wise to start up something. Thankfully, I got to talk with the house owner and it was made clear to me the priority of the project (due to lack of funds) thus changes on construction was made.

After the site inspection I was still supposed to head to QC for a reporting of what was inspected but since I got another appointment I wasn’t able to come with the rest. Instead I hitched a ride with Arvin’s new ride. It really smells new. Ahahaha. Then next headed to Newport City (Resorts World) were my sister and I was gonna catch the movie The Avengers. I know its a bit late but in the end I was thankful I got to watch it. It was awesome! Even if at first I thought of going with Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows but I thing I made the right choice. Before catching the movie I even got my sister to treat me to Sizzling Pepper Plate that was a great and fun experience for me, but our dinner conversation was a lot better. Before getting in the cinema, even if we just had dinner, we bought a popcorn that Hazel insisted me to buy earlier this day. It was good. Overall the night was stupendous! How I wish every Friday is like this. Ahahaha :P

Guess Who Came To Visit?!?!?! (May 9)

Its my good High School buddy Kiko! He came to visit me and made my Wednesday night very interesting. He had a lot of stories to tell and I have all the time to listen and even share some stuff too. And also we did some pretty crazy yet funny stuff as well (its not what you think ;P). We reminisced our High School days, sometimes I really wish that I can go back to those days that really seemed like yesterday. Gosh we’re really that old. Anyways I really had fun spending sometime with him and while I’m still free for the rest of the summer period I do hope ha can come back again.

And since I’m going to send him a link to my site I’m giving him a message: “Oist Kiko balik ka uli ah. Dito lang naman ako sa bahay buong bakasyon. Sana next time pagbalik mo ikaw naman ang magbigay ng tv series/movies at hopefully madagdagan na yung HD ko :)”

Look at us. Just look. Ahahaha

Guess who this person is. He wants to tell everybody that he looks like a Korean here and he’s proud of it! :P

This picture was take two years ago. It was the last time Kiko’s been in our house and I could say a lot of things happened and changed since then.

Bicol Chronicles: Fun at CWC & Bicol Departure (Apr 11)

What can I say about this day’s activity? It was brief but it was fun-packed! For the past two days we were enjoying the trip and at the same time we were drained. Somehow the exhaustion piled up and affected us for almost half of the day. This consumed the time supposed to be spent on our last destination, CWC. For this post, our activities will be mentioned in a time line mode just like facebook.

6:00 am - Alarm set to wake us all up. First of all I was glad upon waking up that I didn’t feel any hangover caused by last night’s King’s Cup session (where i lost twice). We had small talk before getting out of bed. It was when Pacian’s uncle told us to get ready to leave because we have to catch the 8 am boat ride, we started to move.

7: 30 am - Settled our accounts. Before leaving, we had a couple of picture taking at the Inn’s vicinity, though I don’t have file of those pics. Left the Inn and headed to the port. While in the tricycle everyone was just silent, not too much chit chat.

8:00 am - Arrived at the port. I thought we were already late. Paid the terminal fee then got ourselves into the boat. Since were the last ones to get in we we were separated form each other. I guess most of us just sleep along the trip.

10:00 am - Arrived at the other port were we left yesterday then went to Pacian’s house right away.

10:30 am - Arrived at Pacian’s. Similar to the first time we arrived at Pacian’s house food awaits us and we eat those heartily. it was a very nice bruch. Up until now, I could still recall the Paksiw na Pata that was so soft and meaty. Haha. Then a special visitor, yup as in a “special”, appeared from nothingness in the living room of Pacian’s house. The old lady seems to be harmless so we didn’t really mind her.

11:15 am - We were settled from eating. Instantly exhaustion came onto us, we felt so tamad from this point onwards. We planned to start fixing up by 12 o’clock but it was postponed up until 1:30 pm. from that period I even got a short nap. But it was necessary to leave by 2 pm and so we did.

2:00 pm - Left Pacian’s house. Thankful for the hospitality shown to us. We hope we can come back again next time. Ahahaha. Next destination was Naga Central Terminal where we must get bus tickets. But before that we went to the bakery that sold the “Siopao” Bread (I don’t really know its name), bought some for pasalubong. Then another stop to a shop that sells the Coco Jam that was asked by our friend Bea. Then it was Naga for the next destination. Again, we just sleep along the way.

4:00 pm - Arrived at Naga Central Terminal. I didn’t expect that there were many people still. I thought they’re back in Manila or something. Due to this bus tickets were sold out already. Thankfully Miss Liz was very kind to book all of us tickets in advance so problem was solved. After that we headed to CWC that was just somewhat near. There we will be meeting with Liz.

4:40 pm - Arrived at CWC and we were struck with the amenities and activities that can be done. In this case I will let the pictures to speak for themselves :)

Arvin’s body language says it all, two thumbs up! CWC surely has these some facilities that we can’t stop ourselves but to enjoy them up until there’s no time left

9:30 pm - Left CWC and went back to Naga Central Terminal for our 10 pm bus ride. We still want to stay but I guess it’s times up already. This time I went with Miss Liz who surprised me with her driving :)

10:00 pm - Aboard at the bus that will be taking us to Manila. All of us filled with the awesome memories of this trip :)

Bicol Chronicles: Caramoan Island Hoping Adventure (Apr 10)

Uuggghhh! I had a hard time to wake up. We’re suppose to wake up around 5:30 am because we have to be at the port early. But how am I suppose to do that?!?! Well, I am really not an really early bird and used to puyatan, a questionable trait knowing that I’m an Arki student, but that’s just how I am. Last night or this early morning (more appropriate I think) we slept at around 2 am. The reason was because we keep on singing all night long with the karaoke that’s readily available at Pacian’s house that night. I think so, with the songs that we were singing, Pacian’s housemates and their neighbors were having hard time to sleep. Hahaha. That night was really golden :P

Finally we were able to get ourselves prepared and hopped once again in Pacian’s car. We’re all set and excited for this trip. For me I was really hoping that I could do some cliff diving, but I didn’t. Nevertheless, the whole day really FUN!!! With bits of terror and frustration. To know more, just keep on scrolling down :)

Ready to go to the beach! Btw, Pacian’s not the real driver pa-epek lang. Hahaha. Forgive me Pacian… :)

That was our boat ride. We’re pumped up to get into the destination. Taking this picture we were still clueless with what’s ahead…

It happened on the way to Caramoan, getting wet already without getting on the sea. It was due to large waves the we keep on meeting, apparently the sea leads already to the Pacific Ocean O.o

Took two hours for this boat ride. Thankfully the scenery was really nice and green so it the travel was bearable

One more boat ride away to the destination. Were getting there :)

Agaw-buhay moments upon travel to the destination. The waves was really something. It was really scary but it was definitely worth it. It took an hour for this second (smaller) boat ride

Once we get into our destination we had to eat our packed lunch, courtesy of Pacian’s mom. Personally I could skip lunch that time and I only want to immerse already with the waters

Surprisingly there was buko-express available at the place we took our lunch, it was really convenient!

Enjoying the wonderful background :)

Not forgetting the Jump Shots

Fun with the starfish. There were a lot of these there so we kinda borrowed them for a while but returned them in the waters afterwards

Enjoying the swim even if its just shallow waters

First time to see white sand so I can’t get over with it

Having fun with the waters along the shore

More picture-taking by the rocky area.

Snorkeling, even if we lacked with the proper equipment, was really awesome. To be honest, I wasn’t really looking forward to it but when I finally got to experience it I don’t want to stop yet. How I wish I had my own goggles that time…

Sun’s about to set so its important to get back while there’s still light

Dinner time! The food that were served was really delicious it really suits the great day that we had. We couldn’t ask for anything else that night

Pacian’s awaited activity, sky lantern flying. Thankful that all our sky lanterns successfully flew.

The day is not going to end unless we a some drinks. Apparently, I was not only have some but many, literally!

GRABE! I lost for two rounds at this drinking game called King’s Cup. I had to drink this yucky mixture of cola, brandy, water and soy sauce. Yuck!!!

We really enjoyed that day! We went to sleep smiles on our faces and surprisingly (with the amount of drinks I had) I’m still sober :)
